First, the aluminum ash is crushed and ground, and the soluble and insoluble materials in the aluminum ash are separated by water leaching, and the salt is recovered from the solubles. The insoluble matter is mainly composed of aluminum oxide and a small amount of magnesium and silicon oxide, and basically does not contain aluminum nitride and metallic aluminum. Add a certain amount of calcium oxide to the insoluble matter, and burn it to calcium aluminate at 1 093~1 193 ℃, which can be used to remove the harmful element sulfur in high-quality steel. As a big country in iron and steel, the use of aluminum ash to prepare steelmaking flux is expected to realize the large-scale application of aluminum ash.
(2) Preparation of refractory materials
Refractory materials are widely used in high-temperature industries such as metallurgy, cement, ceramics, glass, petrochemicals, etc. Aluminum ash contains a large amount of alumina, making it a potential raw material for refractory production.
(3) Other uses
Using secondary aluminum ash, coal gangue, and petroleum coke as raw materials, high-content aluminum-silicon alloys can be prepared through high-temperature calcination and other processes. This technology not only reduces the production cost of aluminum-silicon alloys, but also realizes the comprehensive utilization of various wastes. It's multiple actions.
