How to choose a dust collector? About the selection of dust collector, we have the following suggestions: 1. Air volume (Q) The processing air volume refers to the volume of gas that the dust removal equipment can purify in a unit of time. Unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or standard cubic meters per hour (Nm3/h). It is one of the most important elements in the design of dust collector. 2. Working temperature For the dust collector, the operating temperature depends on two factors. The first is the highest acceptable temperature of the filter material, and the second is that the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. At present, due to the large number of glass fiber filter materials, the maximum operating temperature can reach 280°C. For gases above this temperature, cooling measures must be taken, and for the gas below the dew point temperature, warming measures must be taken. For dust collector, the relationship between operating temperature and dust removal efficiency is not obvious. This point is different from electric dust removal. For electrostatic precipitators, temperature change will affect the specific resistance of dust and other effects of dust removal efficiency. 3. Inlet dust concentration The inlet dust concentration is determined by the process of the dust point. When designing or selecting a dust collector, it is the second most important element after the air volume. Expressed in g/m3 or g/Nm3. 4. Outlet dust concentration The outlet dust concentration refers to the discharge concentration of the dust collector, indicating that the method is the same as the inlet dust concentration. The size of the outlet dust concentration should be based on the local environmental protection request. The discharge concentration of the bag filter can generally reach 50 g/Nm3 or less. 5. Filtration speed Filtration speed is an important element in the design and selection of a dust collector. It is defined as the ratio of the filtered gas through the filter material, or the ratio of the filtered material to the filter material area. The unit is expressed in m/min. 6. Pressure loss The pressure loss of bag type dust removal refers to the pressure drop, or resistance, of the gas from the inlet to the outlet of the dust collector. 7. Operating pressure The operating pressure of the bag filter is determined according to the static pressure value of the installation micro fan before and after the filter and the position of the device, and is also the design pressure value of the dust collector.
