2. Differences
(1) The original physical state is different: natural gypsum is a lump that is bonded together, while desulfurized gypsum exists as a separate crystalline particle; the ease of grinding between the impurities of desulfurized gypsum and gypsum is quite different, and the natural gypsum is ground after grinding. The coarse particles of desulfurization gypsum are mostly impurities, while the most particles of desulfurized gypsum are gypsum, and the fine particles are impurities, which are just opposite to natural gypsum;
(2) Particle size and gradation: the particle size of flue gas desulfurization gypsum is relatively average, its distribution band is very narrow, high fineness (above 200 mesh), the particles are mainly concentrated between 30-60 μm, and the gradation is far worse than that of natural gypsum Ground gypsum powder.
(3) High water content, the water content is generally about 10% or even higher, the fluidity is poor, and it is only suitable for belt conveying.
(4) The difference in impurity composition leads to the difference in its dehydration characteristics, ease of grinding and macroscopic characteristics such as mechanical properties and rheological properties of calcined plaster of paris.
(5) The output of desulfurized gypsum is relatively evenly distributed throughout the country, especially in the developed eastern regions where gypsum products are consumed in large quantities, the output of desulfurized gypsum is also large, and the grade of desulfurized gypsum is very high, generally above 90%; It makes up for the major defects of small reserves and low output of high-grade natural gypsum in my country, and its products are far from consumption places.
