2. How it works
2.1. The motor is connected with the roller device through a reducer through a coupling or a belt drive, and the roller device is driven to rotate around its axis. When the material enters the drum device, due to the inclination and rotation of the drum device, the material on the screen surface is turned over and rolled, so that the qualified material (product under the screen) is discharged through the outer screen of the drum, and the unqualified material (on the screen) is discharged through the end of the drum.

4. Factors affecting the screening accuracy and efficiency of the trommel screen
4.1. Uniformity of feeding: When the feeding is uneven, there will be a phenomenon that there is material on one side of the screen surface that is not on the other side, which will reduce the utilization rate of the overall screen surface and cause the output to fail to meet the requirements. On the other hand, due to the uneven feeding, there will be a problem of too thick material accumulation on one side. Once the material accumulation thickness is too large, it will affect the screening accuracy and output;
4.2. Feeding amount: If too much material is fed at one time when using the trommel screen, which exceeds the screening load that the screening machine can bear, the material will be discharged from the discharge port before it has time to be screened, resulting in excessive fine material Discharge from the coarse material port will greatly reduce the screening efficiency;
4.3. Angle: The trommel screen generally has a relatively strict installation inclination angle, and the angle between the trommel screen and the ground can be changed according to the needs of the user. However, it is not suitable for the angle to be too large or too small: if the angle is too large, the material will quickly cross the surface of the trommel screen. Moving forward, a large amount of feed material is accumulated on the screen surface, which will cause a large load on the screen surface, reduce the service life of the screen, increase the power required by the trommel screen, and also affect the screening effect.
