Preparations before the replacement of the wet ball mill liner:
1. Learn about the model and specifications of the ball mill in detail, implement the type, size, shape, quantity and other parameters of the liner required by the ball mill, and purchase and place the ball mill liner before replacing it.
2. Determine the type, size, shape and quantity of bolts, screws, sealing rings and other parts required for the ball mill liner, and purchase them in advance.
3. Check whether the maintenance tools such as hoisting steel ropes and crowbars are in place, and conduct strict inspections on the hoisting equipment.
Wet ball mill liner installation process
1. Before installing the lining plate, the dust in the cylinder should be cleaned. When installing the lining plate in the ball mill, a layer of 1:2 cement mortar should be applied between the inner wall of the cylinder and the lining plate, and the bolts of the lining plate should be tightened while wet. The gap between the lining plates is also smoothed with sand and mortar.
2. Before installing the lining plate of the ball mill, the lining plate should be inspected and trimmed. Its back and surrounding areas should be smooth and flat, and the bolt holes should be thoroughly cleaned of sand and casting flashes, so that the bolts can penetrate smoothly.
3. The bolts for fixing the lining plate should be carefully padded with gaskets to prevent the leakage of ore pulp.
4. The direction of the lining should not be reversed. The long mill is generally divided into two compartments, the front and the rear, by the partition plate. The feeding end is the first bin, and the first bin is the step lining board. During installation, the thin end of the stepped liner should be in the same direction as the arrow in the rotation direction of the mill when it is working. The grate hole of the partition board is conical, and the big end of the conical mouth should be consistent with the discharge direction of the ball mill during installation. The barrel liner cannot form an annular gap.
5. When installing the partition board, all bolts should be worn, and then the bolts should be gradually tightened three times. At the same time, note that the connecting bolts on the central disc in the cylinder should be tightened first, and then the bolts on the cylinder should be tightened. After all the bolts are tightened, the nuts of the bolts on the central disc in the cylinder are "spot welded" to prevent loosening.
6. After the cement mortar has solidified to meet the strength requirements, it can be put into trial operation. If the bolts are found to be loose during operation, they must be tightened in time.
The above is the installation process of manganese steel lining, a total of 18 pieces are installed. After the continuous reform of energy saving in the industry, a major breakthrough has been made in rubber linings, and the number of rubber linings has been reduced by half to 9 rubber linings. The installation process is similar, but there is one detail to pay attention to. Previously, manganese steel linings were directly fixed by bolts, which were less stable. Now that the rubber lining is changed, the lining is directly fixed with a rubber bead, which greatly enhances the stability. After the lining of the double-hole bolts is installed, it can withstand the impact of the steel balls in the ball mill, and is more firm, and the bolts are not easy to break, avoiding the original phenomenon of frequent bolt breaking, thereby reducing the number of re-installation of the dropped lining.
Matters needing attention in the replacement process of the ball mill liner
1. The lining shall not be skewed;
2. The contact surface of the cylinder body and the lining plate is added with a cushion plate;
3. The gap under the pressure beam and the lining plate is filled with sponge and other substances, and the filling is required to be attached or installed firmly;
4. The gap between the lining plates should be installed and adjusted evenly;
5. The cylinder lining plate near the end cover should be pushed to both ends as tightly as possible;
6. The cylinder liner and the end cover liner should be installed at the same time;
7. If there are other technical problems, you should seek the help of management personnel in time.
