Under normal circumstances, the lime kiln surface temperature is 320 to 500 degrees, some even higher. Such a high surface temperature, can imagine how much calories will be lost. Therefore, in the lime kiln normal operation to achieve energy-saving and efficient, we must take measures to reduce heat consumption. Lime kiln insulation thickness is small, install refractory in the inside of kiln to achieve a certain role in insulation.
Increase the thickness of the cylinder can increase the insulation, but this reduced the volume inside the barrel, to a certain extent affect the capacity, will also significantly increase the weight of lime rotary kiln cylinder, increase engine power consumption. Refractory brick layer can not increase the thickness, refractory brick insulation effect is poor, high thermal conductivity, generally up to 1.2W / (m.K), 4-6 times for light insulation brick. At present, the lime rotary kiln did not take any measures to simplify the external insulation, lead to cylinder directly exposed, this is also the main reason for high heat dissipation.
