The counter-roll granulator produced by our company is mainly used for the granulation of ceramsite raw balls. Using the principle of plastic granulation, the raw materials are made into raw balls with a diameter of 10-16mm and a length of 10-15mm, and then sent to the rotary kiln is calcined to produce ceramsite.
The main working parts of the double-roll granulator are two rollers with through holes on the surface. One is the fixed roller and the other is the movable roller. The fixed roller is fixed on the frame and cannot be moved. The movable drum is fixed on the movable guide rail, and the position of the movable drum is adjusted by springs and positioning screws, and the distance between the movable drum and the fixed drum is adjusted.
After the double-roll granulator equipment is processed, when debugging the test machine, it is first necessary to fix the position of the movable roller. Make sure that there is a certain gap or slight contact between the two rollers, and then fix the movable roller to this position with the positioning screw. After running for a period of time without any problem, test the machine with materials.
The gap between the movable drum and the fixed drum must be adjusted well. If the gap is too large, most of the materials will fall from the middle of the two drums and be squeezed into a cake shape, which will not achieve the effect of granulation. If the fit is too tight, the movable roller will press on the fixed roller through the left and right of the spring on the other side, causing the two rollers to be subjected to a large axial force. In this way, when the equipment is running and the drum is rotating, it is very likely that the drum and the internal hub fixing device will be de-welded and cracked, resulting in damage to the equipment.
