When the ball mill is running, due to improper operation (such as overload operation or lubrication failure, etc.), the babbitt alloy layer of the bearing bush is deformed, causing the contact between the bearing surface and the shaft to fail to meet the requirements and burning the bush, which will seriously affect the service life of the mill There were even safety incidents. When tile burning occurs, the mill must be stopped and repaired. If emergency treatment is required, the main bearing bush can be replaced after temporary repair on site.
Emergency 1: Minor burns can be corrected by hand. After it is smooth, replace with new lubricating oil, and then use machining methods to achieve the desired contact accuracy.
Emergency 2: local burn damage can be repaired by repairing bearing alloy welding. Now the burned part is cleaned, the spare bearing alloy is melted, poured into a rod shape as a welding electrode, and the welding electrode alloy is fused in the burned part with oxygen acetylene flame, and repaired manually after cooling.
Emergency 3: severe wear and tear
If the alloy tile wears severely, take out the alloy tile and burn all the remaining bearing alloy; remove the oil stains and clean the hollow shaft surface corresponding to the alloy joint surface; add pressure plates to the axial ends of the alloy tile and install it into the bearing seat , Put down the grinding body so that the gap between the hollow shaft and the alloy tile is equal to the design and manufacture gap; use oxygen to heat the spherical tile and the hollow shaft, and slowly pour the pre-melted bearing alloy along the tile mouth until the two tile mouths are full; cooling and solidification Then take out the spherical tile and scrape the tile surface.
The above methods are only applicable to on-site emergency use, but also should be ready to replace with the new tile. It is suggested to reserve two spindle tiles during the production of the mill. When the tile is burned, the new tile can be replaced in time, and the old tile can be repaired by pouring, so as to improve the production efficiency and safety of the mill.
