Rotary kiln is a kind of large-scale calcining equipment. The wheel belt is an important component of the rotary kiln equipment. It not only plays a supporting role, bears the full weight of the rotary kiln shell, but also plays a transmission role to keep the equipment safe and stable. At the same time, the tyre is an easy to wear part of the rotary kiln equipment, so the gap between the tyre and the rotary kiln shell can prolong the service life of the tyre.
Since the rotary kiln is a complex thermal equipment, the force on the cylinder at the tyre is complicated, and the ellipticity change of the cylinder at the tyre actually exists. The tyre rotates according to an elliptical trajectory, and the cylinder at high temperature Creep, wear and other factors accelerate the change of the gap between the tyre and the backing plate, resulting in the destruction of the internal kiln lining by extrusion and tensile stress, causing the refractory bricks to fall off, and affecting the safe operation of the kiln.
1. A large gap will increase the deformation of the cylinder, increase the stress of the welding seam between the backing plate and the rotary kiln cylinder, resulting in fractures, and shortening the service life of the fire brick; at the same time, the relative sliding between the tire and the backing plate will increase. Large, aggravate wear.
2. If the clearance is too small, the cylinder body will expand and there will be interference, which will cause the occurrence of necking, and also cause the rotary kiln cylinder body to appear large deformation. No matter what kind of deformation it is, it will cause the refractory bricks to loosen, distorted and fractured, resulting in dangerous accidents of refractory bricks falling off, and more seriously, it will cause cracks or even breakage of the rotary kiln shell, resulting in damage to the entire rotary kiln shell.
The reasons for the abnormal change of the gap between the cylinder and the tire can generally be divided into two points:
1. Environmental reasons and natural wear and tear.
Some rotary kilns have been operating in an acidic environment for a long time, causing continuous corrosion throughout the year. Dust flying around some rotary kilns is more serious, and a large amount of dust enters between the backing plate and the tyre, causing friction and causing the gap to increase.
2. Reasons for operation.
The operation process of the rotary kiln requires stability, namely: stable feeding, stable speed, and stable temperature. But in actual production, the operation of the rotary kiln is dynamic, and it is a dynamic process that changes at any time. Due to some irregularities or negligence in operation, the rotary kiln cannot run stably, which will cause local deformation of the cylinder and also affect the change of the gap between the cylinder and the tire belt.
