The conveying mode of shaftless screw conveyor is basically the same as that of ordinary screw conveyor. Compared with ordinary screw conveyors, the spiral body of the shaftless screw conveyor does not have a mandrel, and uses thicker blades to weld the spiral body. When the shaftless screw conveyor is running, the rotating screw body is driven to slide in contact with the liner at the bottom of the inner wall of the casing. The material will form a protective layer between the spiral body and the inner wall of the casing, the spiral body does not directly contact the inner wall, and the casing and the spiral blade are less worn.
Compared with the drive shaft screw conveyor, the shaftless screw conveyor adopts the design of no mandrel and intermediate hanging device, and the whole adopts spiral blade pushing material, which has the following advantages:
1. Shaftless screw conveyor has super abrasion resistance, durability and long service life.
2. Large torque and low energy consumption: Because of the shaftless, the material is not easy to be blocked, and the discharge port is not blocked, so it can run at a lower speed and drive smoothly to reduce energy consumption.
3. Large conveying capacity and long distance: The conveying capacity is 1.5 times that of the spiral of the same diameter, and the conveying distance can reach more than ten meters, and multi-stage series installation is adopted according to customer needs.
4. The inner wall of the shell adopts a special liner, which can work under high temperature, and can use different material liners according to the characteristics of the conveying materials.
5. Strong anti-winding: It adopts no central shaft and no hanging device, which has special advantages for conveying belt-shaped and easy-winding materials, and prevents mechanical failures caused by material blockage during conveying.
6. Good environmental protection performance: The enclosed conveying and easy-to-clean spiral surface ensure environmental sanitation and the conveyed materials are not polluted and leak-free.
7. Shaftless screw conveyor has few components and daily maintenance. It has the advantages of simple structure, strong sealing and convenient operation.
8. Convenient discharging: it can be discharging from the bottom or at the end.
